A dalliance with two cross-dressing prostitutes cost an Iranian tourist far more than the agreed price.
After the two had left, he realised that about $3,000 in cash had disappeared from a short-term rented room.
The 41-year old notified Pattaya police and filed a theft complaint in the early hours of September 18.

He reported that he had been walking along Pattaya Beach when two ladyboys on a motorcycle approached him.
They took him to a room, and only afterwards discovered that the cash was missing.
He managed to find the two “Katoeys” in a nearby street and demanded that they return the money, in which he received a beating.
Police were unable to find the perpetrators.
Katoey or Khatoey is a male-to-female transgender or feminine gay male in Thailand, most commonly known as a “ladyboy” in English.
