Increased earthquake safety measures for Phuket as aftershocks continue

Last week's tremors led to a tsunami alert that saw many tourist areas evacuated in Phuket, including Patong Beach.

Q1 2012 sees 7.13% rise in tourists visiting Thailand

Despite the negative publicity of last year's flooding and two foiled bomb-plots in Bangkok, the number of tourists increased by 7% on last years figure.

Thai government to investigate feasibility of second airport at Koh Samui
